Since starting reception class in September the twins have really started with a creative side. They love to do arts and crafts. We always seem to have the colouring books out on the kitchen worktop at the minute. When asked would we like to review some paint sticks of course I said yes.
We have been sent some chunky Little Brian Paint Sticks which come in a pack of 12. A pack of mini paint sticks which come in a pack of 12 and also some chalk sticks which come in a pack of 20. My first thought when opening the packets was how bold the colours are.
I read the instructions on the paints to begin with and to my surprise you could use them on windows. I decided that was a great way to try these out with the boys. My patio windows became the canvas for their masterpieces. I was really pleased at how easy it cleaned off once they had finished. We just used some all purpose wipes from Aldi.
You can see from the pictures that the boys had lots of fun making pictures on the window. They liked using a combination of the large and small paints for different parts of their pictures.
The paints are like a glue stick they wind up when you have used to the tube line. You can vary the colour shade by how hard you press on the stick. Euan presses really hard on his while Edward was gentle and they appeared like pastel colours. Check out Euans blue window below.
The paint sticks are reasonably priced and make great stocking fillers. They also have fabrics paints in the range as well. You can check out the full range at Little Brian Paint Sticks.
I have popped an amazon link below to the three we have tried and you can find the others from there.
