We are part of the Blogger Board Game Club which means we get to try out awesome games like Ticket To Ride and Colt. We love having family time in our house especially Jack. He loves to play games and just generally spend time together. Ticket To Rride is our latest game review and me and jack had a great time playing it.
It was really easy to set up and the instructions are really easy to follow. We played a two player game but you can have 4 players. Ticket To Ride is aimed at children 6+ and after playing I think the age is pitched correctly. It’s took us a few practice goes to get going then it was game time. The aim is to be the first person to complete six routes which are on your ticket cards. Unfortunately I lost the first game because Jack used all his trains and had 5 routes to my 4.
The game play is really simple to follow and it takes about 30 minutes to play a game. Quick enough to keep a child’s interest going for the full game.
The game set comes with 4 sets of trains all in zip lock bags and different colours. Great for keeping everything tidy and together. You also get a few spares in case you lose any. You get the game cards which are well made, there are 72 trains cards and 36 Ttcket cards. The box is great for storing it all and has little compartments for everything. The board game is very thick and strong so won’t easily be damaged or bent.
You can buy your own Ticket to ride for around £25 from all good toy stores and amazon. Ticket to Ride is made by Esdevium games.
