Do you have Star Wars fans in your house? I have two huge fans in my house. Neil and Jack absolutely love it. They border on obsessed and know parts of the films word for word. We are all off to see The last Jedi this Christmas. Even me and Kaitlin get roped into going along so its a family day out. Luckily we both don’t mind the films and we will all have a fab time. Neil and Jack are slowly introducing the twins to the Characters with teddies, various other Star Wars toys like the Bladez Toyz inflatable RC character range.
We have had the pleasure of trying out the R2-D2 inflatable for ourselves and I absolutely love the BB-9E which hits the shops in December. The inflatable remote control characters are fabulous and we have had the pleasure of trying out Minions ones before. The Star Wars range is our favourite but only because I have an obsessed 9 Year old with anything that is related to Star Wars.
The inflatable toys are good fun and easy to use, the R2-D2 control is super easy and has a forward and back ward motion. The twins find them super easy to drive and they are only 3. Jack loves chasing them round the house. The RC Characters have a recommended age of 3+ on them which I think is right as they controls are super easy and its a toy they could play with without intervention.
The Star Wars Range has several Characters you can choose from. Above is Kylo Ren an Argos exclusive and below is the new BB-9E due to hit shops in December. They are priced around £30 depending on which character you choose. You can purchase them from lots of places and you can see the full range over at Bladez Toyz.
My favourite is R2-D2 not just because we have one but I love the character in the films. We have had all sorts of R2-D2 toys, teddies and merchandise over the years. The R2-D2 stands at 42cm when inflated. You can inflate and deflate when not in use, although ours has stayed permanently inflated since we opened it.
You will need 6 AA batteries to get your inflatable working and it appears that’s the same which ever character you have as it was the same for the minions. Two go in the control and 4 in you actual inflatable which is made up of a hard base with wheels and then the inflatable character on top. The material seems to very versatile and we haven’t had any mishaps or punctures in any of ours yet. Each one comes with a repair kit though should you ever need it.
How cute are they? Would you like to win a Stormtrooper of your own? Well you can win one with us just follow the rafflecopter below. Good Luck and May the Force Be With You.
