Do you play games on Christmas Day? We try to always play a game of something as a family and have some time together rather than glued to TV, PlayStation or Ipad. I recently came across this Pass The Pigs Game when I went to a blogging conference earlier this year and thought it was good fun. Its a game that can be played by all the family and everyone can get involved.
Pass The Pigs comes in three different forms. Travel Pigs, Party Pigs and Giant Pigs. We love the travel pigs as its one I can fit in my handbag and take out with me. The game is super simple to play and is basically just like rolling dice. Instead of numbers though the points are generated by the way the pigs land.
You can see from the above picture the various moves to make and lose points. I love the descriptions Pig Out, Trotter and Snouter, these did make me giggle. We have played the travel version lots and I can’t wait to try the Giant version out with the twins. The aim of the game is to be the first to reach 100 points believe me its easier said than done sometimes. There are a few tricky combinations.
Pass The Pigs Party has a slightly different game play from the travel and giant version. The aim is still to be the first to get 100 points but there are 30 position cards and you take it in turns to match that with your pigs. The first person to do it wins the points on the card. There are a few more game rules as well for example if you role the move first time there is a super roll you can do for extra points. I am really looking forward to having this one out at Christmas when the family come round.
