Have you ever heard of Schleich before? Schleich is a German company who do hand painted animals and figures. They now also do a great range of toys to compliment the figures. They have been around since 1935. We had the pleasure of playing with some Schleich horses recently as well as some other toys which we will be reviewing shortly so do keep and eye out for those.
Schleich do a lovely range of hand painted horses and accessories which compliment their horse club range perfectly. We had the pleasure of playing with two horses which are a Pintabian stallion and Pintabian foal along with Foal care accessory kit..
The boys love Schleich animals and these horses are just the latest addition to our animal family. (Not all these but are Schleich but lots are from their range). They love to group them into the animal groups like farm animals. Different sizes of the same animal like horses and elephants.
They love to do pretend play and use their imagination. They can make all the different animal sounds and Edward does a fantastic horse impression when he gallops around the room.
Schleich as well as creating lots of different had painted animals have a great range of accessories to fit the animals. This is the Foal Care kit.
The boys have loved playing with the horses trotting them round our living room. The animals teach them lost of things they are not just a toy. Using the various animals we have the boys have learnt what noises they make what food they eat as well as where they live. You can use them as a great educational tool whilst having fun. Children don’t even realise they are learning new things.
You can see the Schleich horse club range over on their website as well as the other animal ranges they have.
The animals are all extremely well made and last a very long time. Lots of the animals we have had 3 generations of use now. Some are still in excellent condition and will go on to be used for a very long time.
