Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse and his friends? I’ve been a huge Disney fan all my life and Mickey is a such a staple character for all kids. The twins often watch Disney Junior when we are home. They like Mickey Mouse Club House, Doc McStuffin and of course the new Mickey Roadster Racers.
We have recently had the chance to review and play with the new Mickey Roadster Racers Garage. The boys loved sitting watching me build it and apply all the sticker. It took about 40 minutes to build and set up.
The set comes with great Instructions and apart from a screw driver to pop the batteries in the rest just clips together. Be sure to stick your stickers on as you go as well. The stickers are numbered and the instructions tell you what sticker to use. They are really simple to follow.
Once built the garage has lots of little elements to play with. Straight away the boys worked out the slide for the chipmunks. You pop them in Mickeys ears and they slide down the chute.
The garage has lots of movable parts and comes with two roadster racers. I am assured by they boys they are Mickeys and Donald’s. There is also a Mickey Mouse and lots of tools to fix you cars.
The garage felt a little flimsy at first but it’s been very robust. The boys have had great fun playing and improvising. The roof lifts up but the boys tend to take it off fully so they can work in the garage. You can also lock the garage roof together using the special Mickey key which slots on the roof.
Because this is a character they know and love they have really enjoyed playing with it. They have done great role play and improvisation using their imaginations. Its certainly a toy that will be played with lots over the coming weeks and months
You can buy the Mickey Roadster Racers Garage from Smyths and all good toy shops as well as Amazon.
