Are your kids obsessed with fidget spinners? Jack is super obsessed it’s the first thing he grabs when he comes home from school. He just loves sitting watching TV spinning it. I however find it super annoying especially if he is stood next to me spinning them. It does help him concentrate though. Today see the launch of this new great fidget toy to the market and I much prefer playing with this. The Mokuru is the latest in fidget toys.
Mokuru are a wooden cylinder that you can flip from side to side. I have added a video below to show you some of the tricks you can do. I have found it super frustrating trying to do some of the tricks but super addictive. We have found ourselves as a family sat in the kitchen competing who can do the best tricks.
Kaitlin can now do a role 1, 2 and 3 times and stop it every time. I am still working on one role and it seems to just fall over or off the table.
MOKURU was created in 2010 by Mr. Masakazu Node. He born in Tokyo in 1966 as the first son of his family, he joined the toy making industry to pursue the goal of becoming “ Admirable Father “. His motto: “ Don’t create toys that are safe and easy to play, create toys that can bring joy and happiness. “
You can buy the Mokuru from Smyths toys store or Amazon for £9.99
I think that these are great for kids and concentration as well as fun for adults and the family. We love ours and it gets the family together laughing at tea time whilst waiting for food to cook. I also often find myself just spinning it in my hand whilst day dreaming at the laptop.
You can follow Mokuru on the following channels. Please be awesome and give them a follow if you get chance.
