My daughter is pug mad she asks at least once a week can we have a pug mum. Unfortunately we are not in a position to have a dog although I would love one. Neil had two as a child and loved them but knows the hard work involved. She still asks though constantly even though she knows we cant have one. When asked would we like to review the Peppy Pups Pug I jumped at the chance. Initially I thought it would be a great way to tease Kaitlin but I also knew the boys would love it. I was right on both points as well.
Peppy Pups from Flair are great fun. They have different breeds of dog but we have the pug here to review. At first I was sceptical oh its just another pull along dog. I was however extremely suprised when we took it out of the box and started to use it.
The puppy has hard plastic feet which stablise it and allow you take the dog for a walk without just dragging it along. Edward has named it Little Ellie as my sisters big dog is called Ellie.
Little Ellie has a lead and collar with a bell. This can get annoying when you trying to watch TV so ours may have to come off. The lead is just the right length for the boys and they have had no issues pulling Little Ellie along.
Its a great toy for both inside and outside use. You will get some scuffing on the paws if you use it outside but they are made of heard wearing plastic. The body part if very much like a cuddly toy with soft velour feel material.
The Peppy Pups cost around £25-£30 which at first thought is a little steep for a teddy bear dog however as I mentioned above this is no ordinary pull along pup. It very stable and actually waddles along as you take it for a walk I have been pretty impressed and the twins have loved their new playtime pet.
