How do you keep you kids entertained? Its a good question really because mine are so different in age it can be difficult to keep them all happy. I find it hard sometimes to find activities that will suit a 12 year old girl, 8 year old boy and 3 years old twins. So far the one thing I have found that makes them all happy is a park that has an outside gym.
Over the Easter holidays we spent lots of time at the park and in the garden. We love to be outdoors whether that be going for a walk, the park, or just playing in the garden. I love to just sit and watch them play and get some fresh air, its far better than sitting indoors all stuffy and horrible.
Kaitlin and Jack would be more than happy to just sit in their rooms on electrical items and let the days pass them by. I refuse to let them sit in isolation though, it’s unsociable and not good for them. We have had many a battle over IPad, PlayStation and TV time. Please say I am not the only parent who has this problem though surely it’s normal in most houses these days.
We have teamed up Rattan Direct who are currently doing a survey about how we keep our kids entertained. They touch on electrical devices as well as things like board games and books. We do all 3 in our house but I know we don’t do enough reading and playing games as a family as I would like to do.
If you have a spare two minutes could you fill in the SURVEY with what you do to keep your kids entertained. It only takes a few minutes and is multiple choice and doesn’t involve registering for any newsletters or anything silly like that.
