We set off yesterday in good time to go and see the fireworks and laser show at Drayton Manor. Not only that they were showing Star Wars in a huge open air cinema so you can imagine what Jack was like. He is such a huge Star Wars fan he seen the film I don’t know how many times but still wanted to watch it again.
The cinema seats 500 people and has 3 showings per day. It is open air and has proper seats for people to sit on and most are sheltered so no need to worry to much about the weather. The rides are open as well for the whole family to have fun thrills and laughs throughout the day before the main event the laser and show and fireworks.
Unfortunately for us we sat on the evil car park that is the M6 we set off in plenty of time to do the two hour journey and after 2 1/2 hours we had not even made it half way so made the decision to turn round and come home. The kids were just gutted Jack was so upset but we couldn’t sit any longer in the car.
We eagerly awaited some pictures from Drayton Manor of the fireworks to be able to share them with you all. I can safely say they looked amazing, and reading other reviews already on line people had a fantastic time and said they enjoyed every minute of the day.
So even though we didn’t see them our selves you can see the fireworks and lasers look pretty amazing don’t they. Drayton Manor is always a great day out anyway we love the place but add the Star Wars film in the fireworks and Laser show and the fact some rides are open till 9pm what more could you ask for.
You can still get tickets and pay gate so if you are stuck for something to do and want an amazing family day get yourself down to Drayton Manor today or Tomorrow.
Remember to keep your kids safe this bonfire night and check out Fireman Sam’s safety tips.
