Those teacher training days can be so annoying. No childcare, having to take a day off, not sure what to do to keep them entertained. Well you can make them into a great family fun day. Did you know that Drayton Manor is open for most of them and you can go and have lots of fun as a family?
We often go over the weekends and I have been known to go on my own with the twins for a few hours. It’s really easy when you have season passes as you can just get up and go.
When we checked the school holiday list earlier this year we thought Katlin started high school on Thursday 1st September but we found out last minute that she actually started like Jack on Monday 5th. It was great that we could spend more time together but we had nothing planned so what better thing to do than have a day at Drayton Manor. Neil couldn’t get time of work though so it was just me and the four kids.
We had a great day. Even though I was on my own with 4 kids they were all so well behaved and the staff are amazing. I would highly recommend going with toddlers even if you think you cant do it on your own, I have twins aged 2 and the staff are so patient with us getting on and off the rides and help were they can. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
The benefit of going on days like this is the park is much quieter as well and you can go on your favourite rides over and over. The kids love it when they can just go straight in the rides they love the most.
We haven’t been as much as I would have liked to over the 6 weeks holidays purely because we had some much going on but we have planned a few days for September already.
