We have been asked to try out Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey barbeque Glaze and wow it was so yummy we used in the below recipe for BBQ Pulled pork and it was amazing. The kids demolished every last shred of pulled pork from the bowl.
Pulled pork is really easy to cook and can be such a cheap meal to feed the family. Believe me with the brioche buns for serving in they will walk away stuffed. We usually have 2 buns each. It even better when you can get the pork from the whoops fridge. We tend to stock up while we can. You can pick up some really cheap pork joints in the supermarket and if you time it right you can pick them up for around £3-£4 and just freeze them straight away till you want to, but it’s not too expensive to buy anyway we tend to go for the boneless shoulder for pulled pork but you can use pork steaks I would just cut the fat off as you don’t want it in your pulled pork at the end.
We love having BBQ pulled pork in our house so I think I will work my way through the Jack Daniels sauce range to see which we like best. The sauces are available in supermarkets and are priced around £2-£3 depending which one you choose and which supermarket you go in.
1 pork joint
50ml of honey

2, Place pork joint in the slow cooker fat facing upwards (get a joint to feed your family or you can use pork steaks just as well).
3, Pour the sauce over the joint.
4, Cook on high for approx 6 hours.
5, Lift the pork from the slow cooker you will know its cooked if it falls apart when you lift it out.
6, Pour the sauce in a saucepan and bring to boil over a high heat and then simmer and reduce the sauce while you are preparing the pork.
