Personalised bags are a great idea to use as gift bags at Christmas, Birthdays, and special occasions. You can also use paper ones for the party bags for parties. You can do all sorts of designs using all different craft materials and they make a great activity to keep children busy especially my 10 year old daughter.
What you need
Now to Decorate them
Decide who or for what occasion you are making the bag for
Once you know who or what it’s for you can then decide on what materials to use. You can design you bag on some paper first so you have something to work from, a bit like a mood board.
Get all your material ready, make sure if you need shapes they are cut out ready and you have glitter pots opened and ready all to hand. (Using a dining table/large table were you have plenty of room is a good idea)
Once you have all the materials ready you can start to decorate your bag. Make sure you have everything within hands reach because you don’t want to apply glue and not have the items ready to stick.
Make sure you leave you masterpiece to dry once decorated so you don’t lose any of you work or smudge any marker drawings.
You can make lots of designs for all different occasions
We have also done this as an activity at a birthday party you can also decorate other things as well as bags
